Palliative Care Education Opportunity through Hospice New Zealand – free of charge.

With funding from Genesis Oncology Trust, Hospice NZ are able to offer free access to monthly Palliative Care Lectures. These take place on the first Thursday of every month from February – December from 7.30-8.30am. The lectures cover a range of topics and are delivered via teleconference with a power point presentation that the speaker takes participants through.

You can access these lectures by attending at hospices and other registered sites across the country. Health practitioners can also register to join the lectures from their place of practice where they are at distance from current sites.

The event "Genesis Oncology Trust Palliative Care Lecture Series" has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 1 hour per session CME for General Practice Educational Programme Stage 2 (GPEP2) and Maintenance of Professional Standards (MOPS) purposes.
