CCN Lung Cancer Steering Group
A regional Lung Cancer Steering Group was established in 2007 to lead work on developing and promoting standards for service delivery across the CCN region, with a focus on addressing and identifying issues for patients with lung cancer. The Steering Group was mandated to implement best practice in the total management of lung cancer, promote a more co-ordinated and consistent approach to care delivery and to provide regional cancer service providers with guidance for the distribution of resources to ensure commissioning of services is in the best interest of lung cancer patients.
