The Central Cancer Network team would like to acknowledge the work of Siloma Masina in promoting the pacific cancer pathway.  Siloma gave countless hours of her time to ensure that this fono was a success.

It is with regret that we acknowledge her sudden passing in December 2011 and we dedicate this fono

to her and her family.

Approximately 84 people attended the fono on Wednesday 30th November, with pleasing community attendance mainly from Frangipani Pan Pasifika Trust of Whanganui and Taranaki Pasifika Services

Trust.  The balance of the attendees were from various service providers from Hawkes Bay,

MidCentral, Hutt Valley and Wellington.  Also in attendance were the stall holders who also

contributed to one of the workshops.
